Quick Tutorial
The Designer Layout
Your workspace has three areas: the component palette on the left, the canvas in the center where you build your design, and the properties panel on the right for configuration.
Drag & Drop Components
Browse components in the left palette by category. Drag any component onto the canvas to place it. Each component gets a number for easy reference.
Connect Components
Click a port (colored dot) on one component, then click a port on another to create a connection. Choose the type: Tube (with length), Bonded (fixed joint), or Fit (friction fit).
Insert Inline
Right-click any connection line and choose "Insert Inline" to add a component in the middle. The connection automatically splits to accommodate the new part.
Configure Properties
Click any component or connection to open its properties. Select variants, sizes, and add notes. Orange warnings appear if options are not yet selected.
Select & Delete
Click a component or connection to select it (blue highlight). Press Delete or Backspace to remove it. Use Undo to restore accidentally deleted items.
Save & Submit
Save your design as a .mform file to your computer. When ready, click Submit Proposal to send your design with a Bill of Materials to our sales team.
